Mother's Day in St Ives

Mother's Day was spent in St Ives with my younger son, after having had lunch the previous day with my daughter. St Ives, as usual, was very busy with locals and holidaymakers alike soaking up the brilliant weather, along with ice creams and pasties.

We had lunch at The Sloop Inn, which was packed outside, but calm and roomy inside.

After a busy day exploring the narrow, busy streets, it was off to an evening Mother's Day meal with oldest son and his family. Not a day to be slimming.
