Don't they look young, serene and beautiful?
I was even able to fit into that wonderful lace wedding dress when I was about 16!

I still have the artificial coronet of apple blossom that she wore.
Her rosebuds were yellow and they have been tinted yellow in one of their sepia photographs.

Was your parents' wedding day as beautiful - of course it was.

The wedding gowns were so much more modest in those days. I like to see a bride wellcovered!
Clothes were so smart in the 30's. Your parents look very elegant.
Do you know what became of your Mammas gown?
I think one of my sisters has it. But I will find out. I wore it when I was May Queen in 1953! Will look out the photo. It was a beautiful dress. Ann x
