The workmen I mean. This time in the bathroom. I have told you that our lovely, luxurious underfloor bathroom heating conked out in the very cold weather at the beginning of last year (and we managed throughout the rest of the year). When the electricians were doing things in our kitchen alterations recently they investigated the underfloor wiring and thought they could repair it by taking up some tiles. SOME TILES! They had to take out all the white furniture and ALL the tiles now have to be replaced ...

This is the story so far ...

1. Remove everything!~
2. Including the old heating control.

3. Purchase new unfloor heating pack, take up old wiring and replace with new.

4. Go to builders' merchants and choose new floor tiles - start laying them. Requiring lots of noise of a tile cutter and loads of dust!

I would be interested to learn about the underfloor heating Annie - how much was it? We are currently looking at our heating system and thi is a thought.
